Teresa Sparks Named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Envision Healthcare

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Envision Healthcare is pleased to announce that Teresa Sparks has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She brings extensive experience in healthcare finance, operations and acquisitions. Prior to her new role, she served as interim CFO at Brookdale Senior Living.

Previously, Sparks served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for Nashville-based Surgery Partners and its predecessor company, Symbion, where she took the company public and was instrumental in leading its organic and acquisition-based growth strategy.

Earlier leadership roles included working as a healthcare focused Senior Auditor for Deloitte’s Nashville office.   

Sparks is on the Board of Trustees at Trevecca Nazarene University and previously served as the chairperson for the Nashville Healthcare Council’s Leadership Health Care (LHC) program.

Sparks has a Bachelor of Science in business administration and accounting with honors from Trevecca Nazarene University, and she has qualified as a certified public accountant.
