NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Envision Healthcare and Cigna HealthCare of Arizona have entered a new statewide agreement, providing in-network access to Cigna’s commercial, Medicare and individual plan customers for care provided by Envision’s clinicians. The multiyear agreement brings Envision’s clinicians in-network.

Envision, a national leader in physician services, has approximately 2,000 physicians and advanced practice clinicians in Arizona providing emergency medicine, hospital medicine, anesthesia, pain management, radiology, neonatology and maternal-fetal medicine services.

“We are thrilled to partner with Cigna to provide Arizona patients high-quality care from Envision clinicians,” said Christopher A. Holden, President and Chief Executive Officer of Envision Healthcare. “This agreement supports both organizations’ commitment to creating healthier communities by making sure patients have affordable access to comprehensive healthcare services.”

Envision physicians practice at many Arizona hospitals within the Banner Health, Dignity Health and HonorHealth systems.

“Envision’s clinicians have been serving our community for years in our local hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers,” said Kim Shepard, Market President for Cigna in Arizona. “Our new network agreement will help make it easier for our customers, and we are pleased to build upon our collaboration to improve the health and well-being of the thousands of Cigna members who rely on Envision's services.”
